The cooking club had a great time making pizzas this week, the children followed the recipes to make their own dough bases then continued to develop their confidence with kitchen equipment in preparing and chopping their toppings. The children then baked their pizzas in the new oven and even washed up all their dishes!

Many thanks to our parent helper again, Mr Organ and cooking club will meet again next Thursday, 8th October. 

The children were excited to use the schools new cooking room for the first session of cooking club this year. The children were taken through the skills and equipment they will be using and developing their knowledge of this term. The children were also talked through the recipe and given demonstrations of how to prepare and present their dishes. The recipe this week was a healthy snack recipe of freshly prepared vegetables with home made Houmous and Cheese and Chive dips which the children got to take home. Well done to all the children who took part this week and a special thank you to our parent helper, Mr Organ. If you wish to try this weeks recipe at home please find attached. Cooking club will meet again on Thursday 1st October in Mr Fitzsimmons class (Cuttlefish).
